Resurrection and hope in Rwanda

samaritans purse hope in rwandSt John’s Church in Ipswich are hosting an evening of worship, testimony and inspiration with the Bishop of Kigali and Samaritan’s Purse.

20 years ago, Rwanda was torn apart by an awful genocide that killed nearly 1 million people in 100 days.

Since then resurrection and hope have come to this small African country and remarkable regeneration has happened. Come and hear Bishop Louis Muvunyi, Bishop of Kigali, Rwanda tell stories of transformation through the local Church that will inspire and encourage you in your mission here in the UK.

What an awesome night! Thank you to the Bishop of Kigali and all those who helped to put this together. I was deeply touched by his words on 'Forgiveness' and was so pleased that an appeal for Rwanda was done with such dignity, hope and grace. Surely the Holy Spirit was present and we were all touched. I was so proud to be part of the event, singing with ICGC.
